What is Podcasting? Podcasting is essentially radio programming produced with a standard computer, microphone, software, and a website for posting your programming Podcasting can be listened to with any computer connected to the Internet and MP3 portable devices.

Audio Settings

Apple>System Preferences>Sound

Sound, Input Tab, Line In

Select Microphone: Ex. USB, Sound, Input Tab, USB Device

GarageBand>Preferences, Audio Tab, Input, USB Device

Prepare Graphic Images

Prepare Images Photoshop Elements or Paint.NET

PowerPoint: Text, Charts, Graphs Screen Captures: SnagIt/Grab.jpg.gif

File>Save For Web,.jpg or.gif Photos Illustrations Charts Graphs PowerPoint Screen Captures

iPhoto: Place Graphic Images

Place Images in iPhoto

Launch iPhoto: File>New Album File>Import to Library or Drag In

GarageBand: Podcast Creation

GarageBand: File New New Podcast Episode

Add Name, Location, & Create

Eye Icon, Select Jingles, Type, & Drag Audio File to Jingle Track Built-In Audio Files

Or, Media Button, Audio Tab, Select Audio File, & Drag to the Timeline

Select Voice Track, Record & Stop Buttons & Talk Into Microphone

Media, Photos Tab, Select Graphics File, & Drag to the Podcast Track

Drag Inside of the Audio to Move, Drag Edge to Shorten/Lengthen

To Shrink or Expand the Image Area Double Click the Chapter Title Below & Drag the Slider

To Preview, Select I Button, Play & Stop Buttons

File>Save (Edit Later) Share>Podcast to Disk (Compress Movie)

Apply for a.Mac Account 60 Days Free nup.woa/wa/trial?aff=consumer&cty= US Username & Login ed to You

Login to.Mac Account Apple>System Preferences,.Mac, Name, Password, Return Key

iWeb: Podcast Website

File>Publish to Folder Select Desktop Location New Folder Button Name The Folder Select The Folder Choose Button

Launch iWeb: Select Template, Scroll Down & Select a Podcast

Bottom Inspector Icon, RSS Icon, & Podcast

iWeb: Can Delete Old Sites

Podcast: Edit the Web Template Pages & Add Your Own Text

Entries: Edit the Template Text, Select Old Files & Delete if Desired

Delete Template Movie & Drag Your Movie In

Archive: Edit the Template Text on Each Page

Remember To Edit The Text On All Three Pages Do not delete the listen or subscribe links when editing
