Great Sand Dunes National Park Self-Guided Interpretive Trail

This self-guided trail departs from the Park’s visitor center. It is usually the first place in the park that visitors leave their vehicles. They can begin the trail from near the entrance to the visitor center (without entering the building) or from the back patio of the visitor center (after having been inside and seeing exhibits). The trail includes interpretive panels as well as identification plaques for species of plants.
