Chatter from Chase Do you ever recall those activities in life where you felt unsure or indifferent? The one activity that you look forward to but you are not sure why? For me, I had that exact feeling leading up to the 47 th annual Delta Tau Alpha National Convention. The uneasy feeling quickly vanished as I began to meet new people like those from Louisiana at Monroe, Southeast Missouri State University, and Abilene Christian University. While enjoying tours of prominent businesses in the Commerce, Texas area, speeches from leaders of Texas A & M Commerce, Aggie Olympics, and business sessions lead by our National Council, many of us had a lot of fun while learning many things that will help to make our local organizations and communities better. I look forward to seeing each of you at next year’s convention, in Kentucky, where you can showcase your talents and hard work. If you are even slightly unsure about next years convention, don’t be! It is a great chance to enjoy new opportunities and meet others who have many of the same interests as you. After all we are all a part of an organization that promotes and recognizes high standards of scholarship, leadership, and character among agriculture students. Chase Holcumbrink National DTA President
