Labels Can Show Variety  These labels tell the reader about the different kinds of pumpkins that are available for people.

Captions Can Show Parts of the Whole  These labels show us the different parts of a pumpkins seed.  The caption shows exactly where each of the parts of a pumpkins are located.

Labels showing parts of the pumpkin and a fact  This is another example of how the author/illustrator is trying to show the reader the different parts of the pumpkin.
