Proposal Identify non-essential plant & services. Plant might include: –AHU’s serving non-critical areas e.g. Toilets, Foyers –Residence immersion heaters –Heat pumps Switch-off or ‘pulse’ these services for an hour. Operate between 12.30hrs and 14.30hrs, when many staff and students break from work. CARBON MANAGEMENT BOARD – April 2011
Impact Those continuing to work over the target period may notice temperature drift, in the effective areas Possible temporary humidity issues in some areas Temporary inconvenience should adjustment to any of the scheduling be proved necessary
