PUN Sai Wing 5/1/2004 My own observations from your teaching practice Share your ideas, please

PUN Sai Wing 5/1/2004 My own ideas (well done) Grades attained: from B- to B+ Presentations including demo and explanation skills are of excellent level Almost 9 out of 10 used PowerPoint. Some of them are well-designed and full of graphics or videos –Very few chalkboard skills seem. A case happened when the projector was not functioning All have good academic knowledge about IT and application software All shows enthusiasm in teaching

PUN Sai Wing 5/1/2004 My own points (need improvements) Questioning happened in few cases –A case happened when the projector was not functioning –The teacher was aware that the students had lots of experiences in using computers Individual difference found in some classes but there are no or very few considerations: treatments and handling procedures Alternative teaching methods for application software are needed (to be further explored)

PUN Sai Wing 5/1/2004 The teaching of application software Dictionary approach –Teachers directly explain the functions of the software –Like a verbal user manual –The features taught might not be used by the students Exemplary approach –providing good examples for students to follow/explore –Good: authentic and interesting
