History and Founders Kaboodle was founded by Manish Chandra, Keiron McCammon and Chetan Pungaliya on October 1, 2005 Hearst Interactive Media acquired Kaboodle for 30 million dollars Kaboodle is a social shopping network and blogazine whose primary use is to simplify shopping Kaboodle allows users to share recommendations with one another using Kaboodle listing and groups
Uses and Purposes Kaboodle partners with a retailer each week to feature a collection of products The Kaboodle community is then invited to vote for the products they like best Kaboodle members do this through the use of blogs After the voting process, the most liked items are available to Kaboodle members at discounted prices This lasts for only four days or until the inventory is sold out
