4 Expository Paragraph Expository writing is a piece of writing that explains something In expository writing you need details and/or examples to support your main idea. You can organize your examples into categories.

5 Three levels of expository paragraph The expository paragraph has three levels: –A main point presented in the topic sentence –Supporting points which identify categories of examples –Specific examples TOPIC SENTENCE Supporting points Specific Examples
