About the SPCA The SPCA was founded in Fresno, California in 1946 Name was changed to The Central California Society For The Prevention of Cruelty To Animals in 1958

More about the SPCA Since 1946, The CC/SPCA has made a conscience effort to protect and care for animals. For more than 40 years, the shelter has remained faithful to it’s commitment and has found loving homes for thousands of dogs and cats.

Job Duties Greeter: Greet people in main lobby, advise about different areas in shelter, & answer general questions. Special Events: Attend and help set up for special events Thrift Shop: Routine work and cleaning as needed

Job Duties Foster Program: Caring & providing for animal until animal returns to shelter to go up for adoption. Pet Facilitated Therapy: Going out to facilities w/ animals from shelter Licensing Dept: Helping with paperwork and filing
