Purpose This Software Requirement Specification provides a complete description of all the functions, constraints and specifications of the Web Order system to be designed for the Tool Co Company which sells tools and supplies to a diverse market.

Document Conventions The SRS document uses few different font sizes for clear distinction. For example the main headings are numbered with whole numbers like 1.Introduction 2.Overall Description. The subheadings are numbered with decimals like 1.1 Purpose, 1.2 Document conventions etc.

Intended Audience, Reading Suggestions The document is intended to be read by project managers, developers, testers, marketing staff, users and documentation writers. All the parts are independent however reading the document sequentially helps the reader understand the Web Order system better.
