Phenylpropanoids (C6-C3) Cinnamic acids Coumarins The AB system of H-3 and H-4 is characteristic of coumarins

Phenyl propenes Lignans

Lignans are characterized by two shikimate rings and the signals of the aliphatic part (C 3 x 2).
