Bank Brokerage Multinational companies have limited choices in selecting a bank when they enter a foreign market. Blades International, Inc. assists in Bank Brokerage to make sure a Multinational investing in a new market, such as Houston, gets the appropriate services and arranges for competitive pricing through a bid process. It is our long time experience that most Multinationals do not pursue competitive bids for Houston banking services, and thus they typically pay "standard" or "list price" for services. The main cost most Multinationals have is Treasury Management costs. In general, the second most significant cost is for Standby Letters of Credit to serve in a variety of ways to support an operation. The third largest fees are related to Foreign Exchange. Other fee related services include modest loans, and corporate credit cards. Multinational companies moving into Houston also need services for their Foreign National Employees. It is best to arrange such support on the front end, as well as, having the branch bank near the Multinational's office location prepared to help. By going through a diplomatic process to establish a bank relationship, and a secondary bank relationship, that can be available for comparable ongoing quotes, a multinational company can save significant sums. Blades International, Inc.

Structured Trade Finance and Letters of Credit Blades International, Inc. specializes in International Trade Finance by advising on structuring Eximbank Guaranteed Loans, using Eximbank Insurance, and provides a Letter of Credit Brokerage Service. Structured Trade Finance Exporters can assist in structuring Eximbank Guaranteed Loans to support and enhance their foreign sales. Additionally, they can use Eximbank Insurance to extend terms. Foreign Buyers using Eximbank will need to obtain Exporter’s Certificates and the necessary documentation to fund an Eximbank loan and Blades International can assist with that coordination. Letter of Credit Brokerage There is inefficiency in pricing Letter of Credit services which can mean higher costs for users. Export Letters of Credit that need to be “Confirmed” have historically been good credit risks for banks and can generate significant fees. Accordingly, going through the brokerage, or competitive bid process, can result in substantial cost savings and help arrange efficient services. Standby Letters of Credit are typically issued under a line of credit or a credit facility. If they are Trade related they should have a lower cost than the standard Financial Standby Letter of Credit. This lower cost is due to less capital being required for Trade related Letters of Credit. This is typically known by large companies, but not always explained to Middle Market Companies or Foreign Multinationals. Consequently, they may not be given the most efficient pricing. Blades International, Inc. has bank relationships which can diplomatically be consulted with for arranging the best terms and service. Blades International, Inc.

Multinational Treasury and Credit Advisory Services Multinational Companies have parent and subsidiary affiliates to deal with and typically have a number of international payments and foreign exchange transactions. They need to maximize their use of cash and coordinate with their parent company or subsidiary on banking arrangements. Lines of Credit may be needed and can be supported implicitly, by a parent company, or by a comfort letter or guarantee. Blades International, Inc. can help advise on the best Treasury Arrangements and assist with International Credit Negotiations. Blades International, Inc.
