REx Action Items Establish REx real-time forecasting task force –Model source data/centers –Trajectory generation –Forecasters (Chilean Weather Service) Field Catalog –Data questionnaire, satellite datasets, real-time MODIS products, Stratus 07 catalog –Establish Working Group with representatives from Operational Centers, JOSS. Goal is to populate the Field Catalog with model information, data, etc Outreach/Education –Windows to the Universe group –Graduate student field experience reports Land site coordination –Power sources, local coordination, site visit

Action Items Pre-VOCA: –Participants to receive the first set of figures prepared at U. Washington/UCLA for preliminary round of discussions. Efforts to be made in order to incorporate data from Stratus Field Campaigns for model validation. Dataset for Upwelling Regions of the World: –Establish Working Group to develop a comprehensive dataset, starting with VOCALS and continuing with the historical record going as far back as possible as much as possible. Peruvian nominations available. Establishment of Working Group on Emissions : –Initial emphasis on smelters and power plants affecting SEP. Develop emission dataset and emission scenarios for VOCALS modeling experiments (Jerome Fast?)

Action Items Request permission from Dudley Chelton to place his ocean eddy statistics in VOCALS web page.
