What does NHS West Kent do? In England, Primary Care Trusts (PCTs) are the local NHS commissioners. They consult and work collaboratively with a variety of partners within and outside the NHS, to commission services for the local population and are ultimately accountable for commissioning decisions, the budgets and health, well-being and clinical outcomes.

About Internships Internships offer valuable paid work experience providing the opportunity to develop skills that enhance employability. Interns can offer new perspectives, skills, motivation and can be a response to short-term capacity. Interns should be exposed to projects that are challenging, constructive and add real value.

Feedback from Interns 90% felt it was a successful summer work experience 25% stated their Internship was ‘Excellent’ and 63% respondents stated that their overall satisfaction with the Internship met and exceeded their expectations
