Preparing for your Official Visit Tamie Babb District Governor

BEFORE THE VISIT  Take the time to fill out the Planning Guide for Effective Rotary Clubs accurately and as completely as possible.

BEFORE THE VISIT  Notify the District Governor about any problems or potential problems in the club.

BEFORE THE VISIT  Make sure that you inform your program chair NOT to schedule a program during the District Governor’s Official Visit

BEFORE THE VISIT  Notify the District Governor about special presentations that will occur during the visit.

BEFORE THE VISIT  Notify the District Governor about special presentations that will occur during the visit: Paul Harris Fellows

DURING THE VISIT  Allow time for the DG to meet with your club Board Members and Officers either before or after the regular club meeting

DURING THE VISIT  Have a copy of your Planning Guide and a copy of your club’s financial statement for the District Governor at the Board Meeting.

DURING THE VISIT  The District Governor is an officer of Rotary International.  Show respect to the office by STANDING when the District Governor is introduced.
