Project initiative: NEED (Finland) / Development of educational sustainable tourism

Vision This northern periphery project initiative “NEED” will facilitate; – collaboration between several target areas to work on an Interreg IV B Northern Periphery programme application. –the project focuses on environmental education in park sites (especially national parks, world heritage sites and their visitor centres) in Northern Periphery regions. –national parks (etc) and visitor centres can be organised for linking the urban and rural activities and development potential in a novel network for nature science, education, tourism industry and local societies.
