Math Jeopardy! Geometry: Shapes, Lines, & Angles TrianglesQuadrilaterals Lines & Angles

Triangles for 100 This regular triangle has three sides of equal length. It also has three angles of equal size. What is an equilateral triangle? back to the Game Board

Triangles for 200 This type of triangle has no sides that are equal in length. What is a scalene triangle? back to the Game Board

Triangles for 300 This type of triangle has two sides of equal length. It also has two equal angles. What is an isosceles triangle? back to the Game Board

Quadrilaterals for 100 This four-sided shape has two pairs of opposite sides that are parallel and equal in length. What is a parallelogram? back to the Game Board

Quadrilaterals for 200 This four-sided shape has two pairs of parallel sides that are equal in length. All of the angles are right angles. What is a rectangle? back to the Game Board

Quadrilaterals for 300 This quadrilateral has two pairs of parallel sides. All sides are equal in length. What is a rhombus? back to the Game Board

Lines & Angles for 100 This straight line starts at a point and continues on in one direction forever. What is a ray? back to the Game Board

Lines & Angles for 200 These lines intersect (cross) at right angles. What are perpendicular lines? back to the Game Board

Lines & Angles for 300 This type of angle is greater than a right angle, but is less than a straight line. (The angle’s measure is greater than 90 degrees, but less than 180 degrees). What is an obtuse angle? back to the Game Board
