Karen Setting Senior Secretary Provide program support and coordinate administrative aspects of the Physical Therapy Business Office to include, but not limited to: –Screen visitors and independently respond to routine inquiries –Coordinate textbook orders with faculty for all DPT courses –Maintain schedule for department classrooms and conference room –Record and transcribe meeting minutes as required –Prepare course evaluations for all DPT courses –Research and respond to inquiries and direct to appropriate personnel –Edit and format publications/forms –Prepare and submit department Bi-Weekly and Semi-Monthly Payroll –Complete required reports as requested –Order office supplies; maintain office equipment; call for building maintenance repair as requested; and put away the department mail daily –Scheduling Coordinator for Davis NIH grant (10% FTE) –Responsible for filing of all department financial records –Assist with financial administration of department accounts as requested –Performs other related duties as assigned

Terri Reed Staff Assistant Provide program support and coordinate administrative aspects of the Physical Therapy Admissions and BIOMS program to include, but not limited to: -Provide administrative support DPT/BIOMS Admissions -Initial contact for the DPT/BIOMS admissions program(s) and refers inquiries to Program Director(s) for appropriate action –Receive and screen incoming correspondence, applications, contracts, forms etc. and respond accordingly –Maintain files for current BIOMS students, ensuring that an up-to-date approved Plan of Study has been submitted for each student –Take and transcribe minutes for meetings as required –Acts as liaison with internal and external contacts –Coordinate DPT/BIOMS course scheduling, registration, application processing, class lists, rosters and/or student tours/advisement –Research and respond to inquiries and explains Department/University Admissions policies and procedures –Coordinate logistics of incoming DPT classes –Coordinate the department’s Anatomical Gifts Program –Responsible for content and update of the BIOMS website –Complete program(s) statistical information/reports/surveys as required –Perform other duties as assigned

Donna Moore Staff Assistant Clinical Education: (50% FTE) Provide program support and coordinate administrative aspects of the Physical Therapy Clinical Education program to include, but not limited to: Maintain Access database for Clinical Education Maintain all files for student affiliations Communicate daily with facilities and clinic coordinators by phone/ /correspondence as needed Receive and screen incoming correspondence, forms, contracts, etc. and respond accordingly Research and respond to inquiries regarding clinical education and direct to appropriate personnel Edit and format publications/forms Review and prepare contracts and other standard University forms Complete required reports Take and transcribe minutes for all Clinical Education meetings Performs other related duties as assigned Office Administrative Support: (50% FTE) Provide program support for the administrative functions of the Physical Therapy Business Office to include, but not limited to: Take and transcribe department meeting minutes as required Prepare standard University forms as required to include all department reimbursements Research and prepare annual reports to include: –Equipment Inventory –Computer Inventory –Space Inventory –Annual CAPTE Report Assist with financial administration of department accounts and faculty/staff credit cards Maintain database for department gifts program and prepare thank you letters Performs other related duties as assigned

Lynn McDowell Administrative Assistant Provide administrative support to the Physical Therapy Program to include, but not limited to: Assist with the department grant financial administration Process all department journal vouchers, new hire paperwork and JED’s Take and transcribe minutes for meetings as required Post grant and department transactions to database Maintain salaried staff time records Process University web forms as required Maintain department address list Complete program(s) statistical information/reports/surveys as required Assist with department special events Assists in direction of graduate student assignments Perform other duties as assigned

Cyndi Haley Assistant to the Chair Provide administrative support to the Chair -Manage the administrative functions/ and fiscal affairs of the department. -Direct all aspects of daily office practices/procedures including: general supervision, policy, hiring, and training of all staff; provides University policy interpretation/orientation to all new faculty/staff/student hires. -Develop, manage and maintain all external grants and departmental accounts. Ensure that all federal policies and procedures are followed with the execution of all department federal awards. -Assist DPT and PhD funded students with orientation and contracts. - Assist Chair in organization/supervision of programs/strategies to support alumni development. -Responsible for Physical Therapy HR activity and UDSIS system semester management of the department curriculum. -Responsible for organization and management of department special programs /events as required.
