Format: Training Masters Training (EPSRC) course development and delivery student fees (full-time, part-time, via distance learning or CPD) Marie Curie Networks (EU) Visits of experts (tutorials, workshops) Research training appointments

Format: PhDs (all EPSRC) Engineering Doctorates four-year postgraduate awards students spend around 75% in company tailored packages of training courses (managerial and technical) designed and supervised jointly by the academics and company Industrial CASE 3.5 year postgraduate awards allocated to companies company provides a substantial financial contribution student spends at least 3 months overall at company CASE for New Academics building links with a company at an early stage in their career through co-supervision of a CASE student.

Format: Secondments  Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (EPSRC) help companies access knowledge and skills; academics to understand their needs business placements for graduates in companies to tackle technical challenges under the guidance of an academic supervisor  Industry Fellowships Scheme (RS) up to two years full-time transfer between UK private industry and a UK university fellow's salary is paid through the grant
