Format: PhDs (all EPSRC) Engineering Doctorates four-year postgraduate awards students spend around 75% in company tailored packages of training courses (managerial and technical) designed and supervised jointly by the academics and company Industrial CASE 3.5 year postgraduate awards allocated to companies company provides a substantial financial contribution student spends at least 3 months overall at company CASE for New Academics building links with a company at an early stage in their career through co-supervision of a CASE student.
Format: Secondments Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (EPSRC) help companies access knowledge and skills; academics to understand their needs business placements for graduates in companies to tackle technical challenges under the guidance of an academic supervisor Industry Fellowships Scheme (RS) up to two years full-time transfer between UK private industry and a UK university fellow's salary is paid through the grant
