Motivation Current calorimetry studies are based on deposited energy in scintillator.  No photostatistical smearing  Photostatistical error of 7pe/MeV for ID is negligible.  Only small fraction of energy deposit in OD would give noticeable error How much lower light level affects on OD calorimetry?  7, 5, 3pe/MeV for OD is studied
