Can we run step 3 with the downstream Tracker in a fixed position? This means during step 3 the downstream Tracker can never be moved on air skates or rails to the offline position. Why? We don’t want to move 10 tonnes over an unsupported base plate. Not possible to grout the base plates for air skates and difficult to shim for rails. Does this fit in with the physics and maintenance scenario’s? We can get 360 Deg access to both Trackers by moving the upstream tracker (tracker 1) to the offline position. Motivation to do this is to save staff and capital cost.
