Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik Elements of CAR To be filled in by every lecturer who teaches a course (just a one-page report !) When? At the end of the semester Then what ? 1. Course coordinators will perform the analysis on all CARs and will bring up the issues (if any) in the next course coordination meeting (closing the CO loop) 2. CC will summarize the CARs and report it to the HoD. The HoD will bring up the issues (if any) to the JKQA

Grade distribution Obtainable from AIMS – course analysis 3. Modification to the course (if any) Assessment method, additional to CO, marks distributions etc. made from the previous offering Must state the source of modification Is part of the “closing the loop”

Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik Elements of CAR 4. Course Outcomes and Assessment method List the outcomes of the course Specify the assessment source for the selected COs (mapped to selected POs) 5. Student feedback Summarizes the students feedback – constructive comments from students 6. Reflection Self-awareness and opportunity for lecturers to expressed their views on the course contents, students, teaching methods, etc State what is achieved for the selected POs Comments from students on course contents – possibly part of CQI

Suggestions for improvements (if any) Part of the CQI – will be evaluated by CC or JKQA E.g., Adding new topics or contents to the course or assignment or suggestion to introduce new course to improve the curriculum These suggestions will be discussed in the course coordination meetings or JKQA meetings
