Companies make two investment decisions as follows: Investing In A Region A company must invest in a region before it can build any infrastructure in that region. For more information, see the section entitled “Investments - Investing In A Region”. Investing In Infrastructure A company must invest in infrastructure before it can produce services or rent the infrastructure. For more information, see the section entitled “Investments - Investing in infrastructure”. Investments Explained

A company can invest in a region by selecting the Region menu option under Investments. When doing so, the following window will appear: Step 1 Select the desired region This is the cost required to invest in the region Step 2 Click “OK” to invest in the region Investing in a Region

Three options are available when investing in infrastructure: 1. Building Infrastructure Two options exist as follows: A. Build For Self (service companies only) This is what your company builds for internal production. B. Build For Renting This is what your company builds to rent to other service companies. Building this infrastructure automatically places it in the rental market. 2. Renting Infrastructure (service companies only) This is where you rent infrastructure to other companies. 3. Checking Status Of Infrastructure This is where you check the status of your infrastructure (surprised?) The four sections follow that describe these steps in more detail.
