I-STEM Resource Network Promoting K-12 STEM Education in Indiana

I-STEM Resource Network The I-STEM Resource Network is a partnership of Indiana’s institutions of higher education, K-12 schools, business, and government. It is dedicated to measurably improving K-12 student achievement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

I-STEM Resource Network Seventeen Institutions of Higher Education from 10 geographic areas form the I-STEM Resource Network –Conduct Regional Meetings –Collect information on regional STEM activities –Organize opportunities for STEM professional development and activities –Build capacity and regional partnerships –Encourage participation at a regional level

Indiana Grade Report Originally developed by the Independent Colleges of Indiana Provides feedback to Indiana high schools on the first semester performance of their Indiana college- attending graduates The reactivated report will include enhancements –Specific science feedback in chemistry, biology, physics, and possibly earth science. –Specific math feedback in college algebra, trigonometry, and calculus –Online report preparation and disaggregation –Ten years of longitudinal data (available in second year)
