WELCOME  INTRODUCTIONS  BACKGROUND & OVERVIEW  CHARGE TO THE COUNCIL  QUESTIONS  ACTION

INTRODUCTIONS  Diversity  The University values an educational and work environment in which individuals and cultures are celebrated and respected for the unique talents, insights, and perspectives that they contribute.

CONSTITUIENTS  CHANCELOR  PRESIDENT  CABINET  UNIVERSITY STRATEGIC PLAN  NCATE  AASCU

BACKGROUND  Foster a campus climate that respects and celebrates diversity.  Actively recruit, retain and support a diverse faculty, staff and student population.  Conduct a study of the institution’s progress toward achieving diversity and equity in all aspects of the university community.

BACKGROUND  Increase resources for new and existing programs and activities to promote diversity in its various forms.  Expand the activities of the Multicultural Center to enhance the cross-cultural competence of all members of the campus community.
