Project Overview Te·lem·e·try n. (te'le-m&-trE) The science and technology of automatic measurement and transmission of data by wire, radio, or other means from remote sources, as from space vehicles, to receiving stations for recording and analysis.

Background Satellite remote sensing has become an important tool for investigating the scientific properties of astronomical objects such as planets and moons. Any satellite development project requires testing of prototype designs to evaluate proper operation and to solve unanticipated problems before the sensor package is put in harms way.

Suggested Platforms

Engineering Objectives Interfacing with sensors Design of portable devices Printed circuit board designs Application of theoretical concepts

Challenges Foreseen Defects Funding Shipment Delays Compatibility Issues

Project Schedule

Scheduled Meetings on Tuesday from 4:30PM to 6:30PM at KCC Mamane Bldg.

Project Deliverables Successful Design and Implementation Successful Air to Ground Telemetry Detailed Documentation
