Background: White Paper and Health Bill Abolition of PCTs and SHAs; Establishment of NHS Commissioning Board, and GP Commissioning consortia; Transfer of responsibility for public health to local government; Establishment of Health & Wellbeing Boards; Greater emphasis on ‘choice’ under Any Qualified Provider. Major changes to the NHS are proposed:
