3G Technology By James Lin

What is 3G Technology? 3G means dream come true for wireless videophones and high-speed Internet access for mobile devices. (3 rd Generation mobile service) 3G wireless networks are capable of transferring data at speeds of up to 384Kbps. Average speeds for 3G networks will range between 64Kbps and 2.4Mbps.

Mobile Technology Evolvement Speed 1G (analog) Radio Signals>14.4 Kbps. 2G (Digital) TDMA &CDMA 14.4 Kbps. A common wireless data speeds in the United States that are often slower than a 14.4Kb modem  click me (SMS feature in 2G) 3G (Digital) W-CDMA64Kbps ~ 384Kbps and expected to reach speeds of more than 2.4Mbps. Pre- 4G ???WiMax 75Mpbs. Range: 30 Miles

HIGH SPEED DATA TRANSFER You can turn your 3G mobile phone into wireless modem. High speed data transfer means higher productivity. 3G Phone used as a modem  CLICK ME 3G Phone used as a modem

3G Technology - Video Calling

View TV with 3G phones CLICK ME!

Problematic 3G Technology Can’t call in sick anymore.

Significant Limitation Users may not watch a whole feature film on a mobile phone, but can view small clips. Why? Because the stupid battery technology still far behind.
