Initial Specifications  Create an application for the iPhone that will play Karaoke.  Application will remotely connect to an Apache server hosted on campus.  Mp3 + g files will be stored on the server.  Application will contain a browseable SQLite database containing a list of songs.

Problems Encountered  The playing of Mp3+G files.  Not natively supported  Construction of dynamic SQLite queries  LIKE vs. =  Time Constraint  Microphone Playback  Streaming

Revisions and Bugs  Revisions  Mp3 + G files have now been converted and stored as.m4v files.  No Microphone Playback  Bugs  Searching When searching, if you specify both an artist and title they must be exact names. This does not apply to searching by one or the other.

Final Features  Intuitive GUI  Large database of music  “Large”  Ability to browse and search through all your favorite music  Full featured karaoke that fits in your pocket.  Display on your home TV or projector
