Thyatira (Rev 2:18) And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

 The name means “odor of affliction”  During the Thyatira period, instead of Pagan Rome imprisoning, beating, stoning, burning, torturing and murdering Bible-believers because they would not embrace the Gods of Pagan Rome..Now Papal Rome is imprisoning, beating, stoning, burning, torturing and murdering Bible- believers because they will not embrace the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church! Thyatira A. The progression of Balaam “ Odor of affliction ”

Thyatira B. Indentifying the prophetess Jezebel “ Odor of affliction ”

 This woman Jezebel is a false religious system  The question is why God would call this false religious system by that name Jezebel.  The answer is so that the common man could identify her through the Bible, by comparing Scripture with Scripture ThyatIraThyatIra

Judges 15-18

The bottom line concerning the identity of the woman “Jezebel” in Revelation  In the Old Testament, Satan used a real woman called “Jezebel” to bring Baal in to pervert the true worship of God in Israel  In the Church age, Satan used a fugitive woman called “Jezebel” to bring Roman Catholicism in to pervert the true worship of God in Christianity. Thyatira C. The connection of Dan and Ephraim with Jezebel “ Odor of affliction ”

1. Joseph replaces Ephraim

 Ephraim is one of Joseph’s two sons  His brother is Manassas  But the question arises why no Ephraim? ThyatIraThyatIra

(Hos 9:11) As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception. (Hos 9:17) My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations. (Hos 13:1) When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.

(Hos 13:3) Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

1. Joseph replaces Ephraim 2. Levi replaces Dan

 In Old Testament, Levi was the 13 th or the priestly tribe.  They were not listed in Numbers because they did not inherit a land  Their inheritance was the oversight of the tabernacle  So once again we ask the question “What happen to Dan that God would replace them with Levi?” ThyatIraThyatIra

(Amo 8:14) They that swear by the sin of Samaria, and say, Thy god, O Dan, liveth; and, The manner of Beersheba liveth; even they shall fall, and never rise up again.

Judges 15-16

 Judges are about a famous Judge of Israel named Sampson that is committing fornication with a harlot.  Sampson is a picture of the Laodicean Church age believer, in that fact that he was supernaturally birthed into the kingdom and give a commission and power and used it for selfish reasons   Laodicean are the last church age and therefore Samson's death is a picture of the rapture ThyatIraThyatIra

Judges 17

 In Judges 17 and 18, Dan, Ephraim and Levi all show up together.  We see that prophetical context is set in versus 6 “In those days’ ThyatIraThyatIra

(Exo 20:4) Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

(Exo 20:23) Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold. (Lev 19:4) Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am the LORD your God.

 Satan has always found a way to concoct some pagan religious system to put God’s name on, to give a false sense of security so he can damn their souls to hell! ThyatIraThyatIra

(2Co 4:3-5) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

(2Co 11:4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
