Conceptual Model The first page of the order system will require you to login using your Auburn ID & password. Once logged in, you may update your billing and delivery information or continue straight to the ordering process. Billing and Delivery information is automatically saved under your Auburn username. The first order page allows you to either “Create-Your-Own” pizza or choose from one of Domino’s specialty pizzas. Buttons allow you to “Add to Cart”, “Clear” the order, order “Sides & Drinks”, “logout” without ordering, or you can go to “Check Out” or the “View Cart” both of which take you to your cumulative order page. The second ordering page has the same link buttons, and allows you to choose sides and 2 liter sodas. The “Shopping Cart” or “Check Out” page allows you to see your order and total, to go and edit your “Billing & Delivery” information, or to submit your order.
System Requirements A computer with internet access. A standardized internet browser, preferably Internet Explorer 5 or higher. A monitor with resolution of 800x600 or higher. An active Auburn University ID and password.
Lexicon Auburn University Username – The username provided by Auburn University’s OIT department. Tiger Card – The credit card ability active on some Auburn University Student and Employee Ids. It’s card number will be the student ID number (a.k.a. the social security number). (Shopping) Cart – A collection of everything you’ve ordered so far and it’s cost.
Scenario Katie Reid wants to order a pizza from Domino’s using her Visa card, and have it delivered to her dorm room. –She logs into the site for the first time and is welcomed by her name as officially recorded with the university, Katherine Reid. –She enters & updates her Billing & Delivery info, then hits the “order” button. –She then continues to the order pages and fills out an order for Cheesy Bread and a Medium Sausage pizza. –When she submits the completed order, her Tiger Mail receives a confirmation message telling her when her pizza should arrive.
To start, you log into the Pizza Ordering site with your Auburn University ID and Password.
Once logged in, you will arrive at the Billing & Delivery page, you can update (save) your information here then click the order button to create your order, or you can go straight to the order pages and update this info later. The first of the ordering pages allows you to specify the pizza you want. The cost of the pizza being created is calculated in the upper right corner as you add toppings. Once you’ve inputted the pizza information, you add the pizza to your shopping cart. The second of the ordering pages allows you to select from the various sides and drinks available. Once you’ve selected the sides you want, you add them to your shopping cart by clicking “Add To Cart”.
This page is your “Shopping Cart”. It shows your order so far and the current total. It also allows you to return to the Billing & Delivery page to make sure all your data is correct. Once you’ve submitted the order, a confirmation and estimated delivery time is sent to your Auburn University inbox.
