Have you ever considered visiting China? No? Here are some quick facts about the country to wet your appetite for travel. It’s the third largest country in the world by mass! (next to Canada and Russia) It possesses one of the 7 Wonders of the World It makes up approximately 22% of total population in the world. (Total world population: 6,242,134,082 (as of 8/07/2002))

Where is China? China is situated in the eastern part of Asia, on the west coast of the Pacific Ocean. It has a total land area of 9.6 million square kilometers China has a curved coastal line of 18,000 kilometers and over 5,000 islands.
