Kirkin’ o’ th’ Tartan Historic Christ Church in Irvington, VA

Boardwalk History Festival Thanks to Russell and Pam Darden, Bob Rider, and many others for their hard work in putting this together A very successful day, with many opportunities to talk with interested people … We are always looking for volunteers to set up an SST table at these sorts of events - great publicity for the Society!

Flowers of the Forest Tessa Cristina Tranchant ( ) A very special thanks to Rob Lockwood, Rita Hamilton, Tom Crouch, and Lynnette Fitch Brash for providing their talents and services

Operation Scottish Cheer! Many of our members, and/or their family and close friends are currently deployed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other dangerous locations We would like to help bring a little good cheer to their day by sending a “care package” from the SST Speak with Marcey, Scott MacGregor, or Lynnette about how you can contribute!

Operation Scottish Cheer! instant coffee, beef jerky, cookies, power bars, canned soup, tuna, etc., razors, “skivvies,” toothpaste, baby wipes, stamps, batteries, nail files, etc. magazines, newspapers, mini fans, blankets, puzzles, CDs, etc. Be creative! But remember to avoid things that could easily melt (like chocolate – unless it’s M&Ms), and to wrap potential messy items in zip lock bags.
