Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energyeere.energy.gov Market, Policy & Regulatory Analysis What are geothermal system costs and RD&D impacts on LCOE? How do we estimate and describe the resource? What is the supply potential? How do we reduce development risks & enable RD&D through data sharing? What are the environmental impacts & benefits? What is the geothermal market share? What are the regulatory barriers to adding more power to the grid? Techno-economic Analysis Resource Assessment and Classification Environmental Analysis Data Provision The Systems Analysis effort provides data and information tools to support geothermal RD&D and informs decision-makers.
