Alongside its wide range of instruments Shawcity can offer you an efficient and cost effective hire service. The Shawcity instrument range is very varied meaning that you can find a monitor to suit your application. The range includes; PID’s(Photo Ionisation detectors) such as the PhoCheck Tiger and MiniRAE 3000 from RAE Systems, Ground Gas monitors such as the GasClam and GFM, Noise and Vibration monitors, Single and Multigas confined space instruments, as well as Mercury and Benzene detectors… PLUS MANY MORE! So what do you get when you hire from Shawcity? Instruments are maintained by manufacturer trained engineers authorised to carry out work on instruments - work carried out by unauthorised engineers may affect the ATEX status. A valid calibration certificate is provided with all instruments Delivery before 12 noon as standard Same day dispatch due to extensive hire fleet

Hire Continued Technical support for the duration of the hire Collection of the instrument arranged by Shawcity (if required) When you hire an instrument from Shawcity it comes in a rugged case with everything you need, including; the battery charger, calibration gas, water- trap filter, operation manual and video plus data logging software. It is tested and ready charged so you can use it the moment it arrives on site. After data collection you can produce formatted reports on your PC. Hiring is the perfect option if you are unsure about an instrument and want to trial it or if you feel that you would not use it often enough to justify a purchase.

Service, repair and calibration Service, Repairs and Calibration Despite the fact that they are treated well in the field or workplace, it is inevitable that you may need a repair or calibration along the way. With all the care in the world, sometimes the worst happens; instruments get run over by tractors, dragged through sludge, and get exposed to airborne contaminants. We know how important it is for you to be able to continue work on a job even when your monitor is in for repair. At Shawcity we endeavour to make the process as simple as possible so that you can carry on with the job and save time and money! At Shawcity we do the following to help the repair and calibration process as easy as possible: Quick and efficient service guaranteed. Normal repairs on a gas detector don't take long, however we will always be honest with you and will ensure that you have a replacement instrument whilst yours is being repaired, as with our calibration service. We do not ship to the US or Europe so there are NO delays. While you're waiting on repairs, we give you half off on a rental. We understand your need to continue working and monitoring within your products so will give you a replacement instrument whilst yours is being calibrated or repaired for only £185! This is the Shawcity Duration of Service Hire Scheme.
