Hong Kong Academic Library Link ( 香港高校圖書聯網 ) 10 30EdD students can borrow 10 books from other UGC libraries via HKALL for 30 days availableYou can only request the books which are available The HKALL loan quota of 10 books is included in your HKIEd Library loan quota Requested books can be picked up and collected at MMW Library or TCL Circulation Counter You will be noticed by when the item is ready for pickup

JULAC (Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee) Cards  EdD students are eligible to apply for JULAC Cards  Visit and borrow items of other UGC libraries  Borrowing privileges may vary among libraries  Application can be made at the Circulation Counter, MMW Library or TCL

 Materials with loan period  7 days may be renewed twice  The new due date is calculated from the date of renewal  You cannot renew a checked-out item if :  There are holds on the item  The item is overdue  The maximum no. of renewals have been reached RENEWALS

 Users may place a hold on a checked-out item with loan period of  7 days  Your “hold” quotas: 20 items  Loan period may be shortened if a hold has been placed on their loaned items  notice will be sent to you when the item is ready for pickup HOLD / RECALL

 All library notices will be sent to you by (HKIEd account, e.g. or 1.Due date alert notice (3 days before) 2.Overdue notice 3.Item recalled notice (due date shortened) 4.Pick up notice  You may also receive Library SMS if you have activated the function. Library Notice

Library SMS Alert Service  Receive a SMS alert when a book is due in 3 days, overdue, recalled or ready to pick up.  Users are required to register mobile phone no. at to receive free SMS messages.
