What is Costco Wholesale? Costco Wholesale is a bulk warehouse store that is dedicated to bringing it’s members the highest quality product at wholesale prices. To shop and use the services provided by Costco, a membership is required.

Costco Memberships Costco offers three types of membership: Business, Executive, and Goldstar.

Goldstar Membership The Gold Star membership is a personal membership available for $45.00. An additional card is available for your spouse or domestic partner at no additional charge.

Business Membership The Costco Business membership is available to anyone who owns or operates a business. The business membership is required for business purchases, purchasing for resale, and writing business checks. The Business membership is also $45.00 for two cards.

Executive Membership The Executive membership is available to both personal and business members. The executive card gives members 2% back on their purchases except for gasoline and cigarettes. The rebate check from the executive card is guaranteed or your money back.

Costco Members also have other added benefits…. Services for your home like, Home equity Financing, Real Estate Agent Service, and Life Insurance. Business members have access to services like, Merchant Credit Card Processing, Payroll Processing, and Health Insurance.

American Express Costco members can utilize Costco’s partnership with American Express to earn an additional 2%. American Express is the only credit card accepted by Costco.

Costco Gasoline Some Costco’s have gas stations. Costco guarantees that their gas will be the cheapest within a five mile radius.

Costco Return Policy On merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell by offering a full refund, subject to certain product specific limitations. On membership: We will refund your membership fee in full at any time if you are dissatisfied.

Costco Misc. Info If a product is not available in a warehouse members are encouraged to look online. Online services also include renewing your membership and changing your personal information.
