Thousands of students, large scale events and the need for a car or bus system Walking past a professors on campus and they know your name Size Busy city where you will find yourself exploring the metropolitan area A “college town” where there are residential campus events Location and Environment Close enough to visit (or have parents/friends stop by) frequently Being content seeing family and friends on long breaks Distance from Home Lots of choice. Liberal arts education Specific programs designed for certain careers or courses of study Programs offered State schools with lower tuition and accept Bright Futures Private colleges that have higher tuition and academic scholarships in addition to aid, endowments and grants Cost
