3 Executive Summary Program completed detailed schedule re-plan. –On track to have airplane return to flight on October 20 th ! –First light projected for late winter –NASA Science Mission Directorate approved interim baseline on August 26 th –Final baseline pending Standing Review Board (SRB) independent review in January, and Agency program management council (APMC) –NASA Science Mission Directorate has agreed to restore funds for DAOF, which restores reserve CDDS controller delivered, integrated, and tested in July! –MCCS control of CDDS demonstrated during recent line ops Mission systems, TA, and FORCAST are on track for early science flight summer 2010, pending successful open door envelope expansion –Internet testing of MCCS engineering build 3 complete, w/FORCAST –FORCAST integration and line ops early next year Assigned separate team for segment 3 detailed planning, to mitigate schedule delays during segment 3 downtime 3/24/2009
