In 1848 James W. Marshall found gold at Sutters Mill, CA and started a revolution. BEGGINING

REASON People came from all around the world to get gold and become rich.By 1850 there were more than 100,000 people in California, Which was enough people to make it a state.

TRANSPORT People came to California by many different modes of transport like boat and wagon train. Thanks to the gold rush CA is a state.

AFTERWORD After all the gold was mined out but people still stayed in California. The revolutionary gold rush ended in 1855.
