6.1. Sources for envisioning the future task world TM 1: inconsistencies, problems, conflicting goals, user needs  Questions (for TM 2 and for detail specifications) Technology: possibilities and expectations, constraints, challenges  Options Client: business goals, vision, ergonomics, standards, safety and reliability, corporate image  Criteria

Conflicting options and criteria Multidisciplinary expertise and creativity needed: Ergonomics (adaptation) psychology / anthropology (the human side) Engineering (the technology side) graphic design, cinematography, typography (arts/crafts) management and marketing (the client needs to sell it)  No reason for unanimity! Envisioning will be followed by specification of details  back-tracking needed
