Education and Blogs

What is a blog? Known as a web log. One can write about anything they want and publish it online. Others can read the blog on the internet. Great tool where you can use text, images, links, and other media.

Why blog? Good for all learning styles. Pride in their work. Allows for independence and responsibility. Work is permanently stored and easily accessible. Motivation!!

Ability to share Students can share with: ◦ Their peers ◦ Their parents. ◦ Relatives who live in another state.  Anyone with internet access can read their blogs.

Creativity Students can set their own topics. In turn, this leads to deeper thinking. Students can add text, audio, images, and much more to their blogs.
