Uses for Technology  Writing and Publishing  Reading and Studying  Communication and Collaboration

Writing and Publishing Technology can be of great assistance in the writing process. Technology can be of great assistance in the writing process. ∆ Planning: students can use software such as kidspiration to create concept maps. - concept maps are exceptionally helpful to foreign language students because it is a clear way to actually see their ideas on paper.

Writing and Publishing  Revising and Editing: students can change and rearrange their ideas when they are in a word processing program.

Writing and Publishing  Publishing: Technology offers students and infinite amount of ways to share their writing.  Students can publish by simply printing, or they can publish on the web, or in a presentation format.

Reading and Studying How technology can be used to enhance the learning experience.

Reading  Technology can give students guided instruction in basic reading skills.  Computer-Supported Comprehension and Vocabulary Development.  One such program is Accelerated Reading. This program diagnosis the student and them provides the appropriate level of instruction.

Studying  Computer assisted note taking: Software that allows students to note take and thus study in a variety of ways. - Notes can be easily modified. - Ability to use notes in a variety of ways.  Computer enhanced critical thinking - Technology can used to enhance reading and writing by providing access to materials that encourage critical thinking skills.

Communication and Collaboration Technology helps students share.
