Next Week’s Action Items 1.Begin Building Boom and Mast for Final Prototype -Build using PVC acquired from Loews -Specs for the Design Height = 30” Width = 12” 2. Order Components for Drive System -Wheels and Casters have been acquired -Motor, Drive Shafts, and Ball Bearings will be chosen and purchased.
Next Week’s Action Item #2 Motors -Two Motors that will Power the Rear Wheels -Motor Specs: ω = 225 rpm T = 1 N-m Drive Shaft and Ball Bearings -Drive Shaft will be chosen once it has been decided how to connect wheels and motor output. -Ball Bearings will be chosen based on Drive Shaft Diameter. -Pillow Block Bearings will most likely be used.
