2011 so far… Biggest cuts to local government in a generation Construction industry in recession Downsizing of many council planning departments ‘Chief Planning Officers’ becoming an endangered species Public expectations of what planners should be doing have increased!

EMC Response Low Cost CPD Network – ensuring council planners have access to high quality CPD at below market rates Planning Support Service (PSS) – ensuring councils have access to specialist skills to meet work-load peaks, including through EMC ‘Associate Consultants’
