Black History A Webquest by Erin Trybulski

Introduction Humans have been living on the planet Zolart. Happily living side by side with the Zolartians. Now, the friendly aliens want to know more about our history. You and your group have been chosen to teach the aliens about black history.

Task Each group will decide on an important African American in U.S history. Each person in the group will chose a topic and create a poster. The groups will present their posters to the Zolartians.

Process Choose the African American your group wants to discuss Choose several topics to research. Create individual posters. Three class periods will be given to work on the project.

Evaluation The Poster (50): For content, accuracy, appearance, creativity, and effort. The Presentation (50): For expression, clarity, and knowledge of the subject.
