Duke Ellington

Duke Ellington was a jazz legend ! Numerous awards such as : “Grammy Awards’’. Mr. Ellington also wrote numerous songs for others! You already know you are a special talent when you have other artists such as: Jeep's Blues" for Johnny Hodges, "Concerto for Cootie" ("Do Nothing Till You Hear from Me") for Cootie Williams and "The Mooche" for Tricky Sam Nanton. I feel as if Mr. Ellington has paved the way for jazz as a whole! All being done between his age cycle of 30-70! For him to do that much work in the industry you have got to be a legend. The website I also used for this biography was wikipedia.com

My feelings to “Boy With A Horn” proved Ellington’s talent! The lyrics were smashing, well written, great critic report’s I just didn’t truly think Mr. Ellington could get any better period !

Mr. Ellington’s form of art is sensual, party-starter, such as boy meets horn In the dark of deepest night there comes a haunting sigh floating down from somewhere on high, oh, what a lonely lullaby You'll hear a symphony in blue when ever BOY MEETS HORN, you'll hear a melody so new when BOY MEETS HORN; low and oh, so sweet that it seems It's like the mellow music from another world of dreams; you'll hear a strange and tender whenever BOY MEETS HORN, and when the music in the moonlight greets the morn, you'll see him standing way above the crowd and rockin on a cloud whenever BOY MEETS HORN. You'll hear a symphony in blue when ever BOY MEETS HORN, you'll hear a melody so new when BOY MEETS HORN; low and oh, so sweet that it seems It's like the mellow music from another world of dreams; you'll hear a strange and tender whenever BOY MEETS HORN, and when the music in the moonlight greets the morn, you'll see him standing way above the crowd and rockin on a cloud whenever BOY
