Trends in The Population of the United States by Ted Goertzel

Three Questions What is the trend in population, and can it be projected for fifty years? What is the trend in the black, white and Hispanic population? What is the trend in the elderly population?

Conclusions The rate of increase in the U.S. Population has increased in the last ten years If it continues at the rate of growth of the last ten years it will reach 362 million in 2025 An increasing percentage of the population will be of Hispanic Origin The percent 65 or older will reach 20% at about 2030 and then level off
