From “Johnny B. Goode” by Chuck Berry FRANK N. FOODE

Way down in Louisiana out by New Orleans They're growin' cotton plants using high tech genes The farmers all spray Roundup when they get the chance And everything is dyin' 'cept the cotton plants Lots of folks in Europe and some from USA Don't trust biotech and this is what they say

No no, no GMO no no, no GMO no no, no Frankenfood FRANK N. FOODE

With herbicide resistance, teminator genes The terminology’s frightening to most human beings They’re worried that the safety testing’s not complete And folks are taking risks with every bite they eat Give consumers labels ‘cuz it’s what they need The only thing preventing it is corporate greed FRANK N. FOODE

No no, no GMO no no, no GMO no no, no Frankenfood FRANK N. FOODE

They say this new technology has got to go We heard ‘em loud and clear at the WTO Proponents of the industry say give it a chance but they’re accused of capitalistic arrogance Some think their fears give them the right to vandalize You see ‘em smashing out McWindows ‘cuz of biotech fries FRANK N. FOODE
