Energy Saving Climate Control System (ESCCS) Team: Sean Jacobs, Brad Nissenbaum, Colin Tracy Advisor: Professor Anderson
Mission Statement Environmental - Relieving stresses caused by increasing energy demands Economic - Saving the consumer money through decreased energy use Engineering - Use sound engineering practices in order to meet goals and satisfy consumer demands.
System Outline Temperature and Light Levels can be measured Based on User Settings, Room Environment is adjusted Control system is used to Adjust Air Conditioner operation along with light levels in the room with Electrochromic Glass Thermostat, Light measurer and User Input dials Control System Monitors and Adjusts Room with Electrochromic glass climate and light changes
Deliverables A model enclosure demonstrating the functionality of the ESCCS All documentation regarding circuit schematics, parts list, testing results and project costs User’s manual
