Energy Saving Climate Control System (ESCCS) Team: Sean Jacobs, Brad Nissenbaum, Colin Tracy Advisor: Professor Anderson

Mission Statement Environmental - Relieving stresses caused by increasing energy demands Economic - Saving the consumer money through decreased energy use Engineering - Use sound engineering practices in order to meet goals and satisfy consumer demands.

System Outline Temperature and Light Levels can be measured Based on User Settings, Room Environment is adjusted Control system is used to Adjust Air Conditioner operation along with light levels in the room with Electrochromic Glass Thermostat, Light measurer and User Input dials Control System Monitors and Adjusts Room with Electrochromic glass climate and light changes

Deliverables A model enclosure demonstrating the functionality of the ESCCS All documentation regarding circuit schematics, parts list, testing results and project costs User’s manual

Materials and Testing We have received 8 product samples of automobile mirrors to use on our prototype and test examples We know how our samples operate due to varying voltage changes Need to decide on proper Microcontroller and Sensors
